Stuffed Monstrous Nightmare

My friend's son saw How to Train Your Dragon with me and said he wanted a stuffed dragon. Did he want a Toothless? No, of course not! He wanted a Monstrous Nightmare, which was more complicated.

Okay, so it doesn't really look much like the dragon in the movie, but it nonetheless turned out pretty cute, and the kid loves him. Wraps the wings around his neck and wears the dragon like a neckerchief.

When I went to make him, I didn't have my modifiable dragon patterns with me, so I'm afraid I just jumped right in with cutting fabric. Somehow, it all worked out. I tried using polymer clay for the horns, but they would not stay in place when I tried different methods of affixing them to the dragon's head. And they'd probably break off anyway, so I made the horns out of felt, like all the other spines and claws and things on this critter.
