Lemme tell you about my commute, because it's actually an interesting drive that I take twice a day. Familiarity may breed contempt, but when we take a step back, the most everyday things are miraculous, right? It's got tunnels, it's got city views! It's got bridges over troubled waters! Or perhaps the waters aren't so troubled, but any body of water is pretty troubling for a car, so the bridges are a key element. I live up in the Northern reaches of the Seattle area, where you don't have to go too much further before you run out of city. Hello, friends in Seattle, or friends who may be traveling to Seattle! I found a little store in Edmonds, or rather they found me!, that sells fantasy and Steampunk goodies, and they're selling my stuffed dragons and costume wings via consignment. How awesome is that! They're called Otherworlds and are down in the Bowl of Edmonds, within walking distance of the Kingston ferry dock. We also have an event coming up at the end of June - a Build-a-Dragon evening!
